About Us

DEWDASH is the brain-child of Namita Rungta, a commerce graduate with a dream in her eyes. Namita’s journey in skincare began in 2020 while working with derma products and her brother-in-law- a dermatologist. She saw many general skincare problems like dullness, dryness, early aging, acne and amongst many others. Many pharma companies create products, to resolve these issues, that did not need a doctor prescription. But some where their products lacked by only giving temporary results.

She felt the need to develop products that will help resolve these problems. She saw the different categories of products in the market and wanted to create products that are scientifically backed products. She wanted people to have a premium product that consumers can trust, because it is efficacy driven.

While working in the other brands developing the products, she realized that most of the products developed had only contain a small percentage of active agents to solve the skincare concerns. Though many brands claim to give results but their products do not deliver on the promises in long term. Not all skincare products in the market are dermatologically tested.

Science backed products are the future of skincare. Namita felt the need to do proper research and develop products. She worked with the manufacturing team for the research and developing of the product. This helped her developed products that are enriched with the important ingredients in the correct balance.

She wanted to focus creating formulations that protects the skin barrier through hydration, revitalizing and nourishing the skin, and preserving its natural pH and barrier function with a minimum routine. The skincare products are enriched with kojic acid, glutathione, alpha arbutin and hyaluronic acid. These ingredients address the common concerns that people face with their skin.

Creating a clearly labelled and honest product was fundamental to its development. In order to build trust the products are all dermatologically tested.  The products are labelled with the ingredients and certifications. She encourages consumers to read the labels of the products.
